Eastern Lepidoptera Conservation

Welcome

The Regal Fritillary or Argynnis idalia is a striking nymphalid butterfly that was once abundant and widespread throughout North America. Now, its range is rapidly shrinking due to a variety of reasons. The primary goal of this site is to be an educational resource for the Regal Fritillary and species like it. The best way for one to care about conservation is to be educated on the matter at hand.
